HARDIN COUNTY — Attention rock bands, hip hop groups, indie artists ...

Basically, if you're no stranger to clutching a microphone and wailing your heart out on stage, we want to hear from you.

We know you're out there. We hear the talk. We're looking for you, and we're not the only ones.

Our readers tell us they want to know more about the local music scene.

They want to know where local bands and musicians are playing — whether it's in Hardin County or elsewhere. And we want to tell them.

If you're a musician from the Hardin County area or belong to a band with local ties, e-mail calendars@thenewsenterprise.com and let us know about your upcoming gigs.

Please explain your connection to the local area and provide details for any scheduled shows you have coming up. Include your name or your group's name, date, time, venue (plus address), admission and point of contact. Make the subject line "local band."

If you know of a music group or musician that would make a great feature story, e-mail feature writers Becca Owsley at bowsley@thenewsenterprise.com or Robert Villanueva at rvillanueva@thenewsenterprise.com and tell us why.

We know you're out there. We've heard about you. Tell us where to find you.

Your fans await.
