Residents from Hardin County attended a federal hiring symposium to prepare for the opportunity to land a job at Ft. Knox. More symposiums are scheduled for the region as recruiters look at having to fill as many as 1,500 positions due to base realignment. To accommodate more people, the location for the June 24 symposium has been changed to the Hartford Building on Jefferson Community College's downtown campus in Louisville.
