Festivals & Fairs

Kentucky's Heartland has hundreds of festivals every year from county fairs, to Bluegrass festivals to food and wine tastings.

Each year, Bardstown, the bourbon capital of the world, plays host to the Kentucky Bourbon Festival where you can sample our state's trademark drink along with delicious food and great entertainment. You can also share in a celebration of one of our most famous sons and our nation's 16th president at the annual Lincoln Days in Hodgenville, home of the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site. That weekend, everywhere you turn Abe look-alikes can be found.

And you cannot miss Louisville's annual Kentucky Derby Festival, three weeks of events leading up to the most famous horse race in the world.

And that's just a handful of the many festivals you and your family can enjoy.
